ENA SUTTON
Peacefully on September 5, 1985, after a lengthy illness, aged 57.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband David and daughter Ann of Winnipeg and son, Michael of Halifax; also her sister Jessie Bush and husband Peter of Guelph; brother Roland Milligan and daughter Elsa of Calgary; cousins, the Cameron family of Thunder Bay and numerous relatives in the United Kingdom.

Ena was born in Peterhead, Scotland in 1928 and came to Canada with her husband and daughter in 1957. She was employed for 25 years with the Inspections Branch, City of Winnipeg Health Department, retiring in July 1983. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star and was actively involved with the International Order of Job's Daughters for many years. A charter member of the Folk Arts Council of Manitoba, Ena also served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Folk Art Council, founded the Mug Pub Pavilion (Folklorama) and the Pavilion of Scotland, of which she had been president for the past ten years. In 1965, she formed the Highland Dancers of Winnipeg and remained Director until present. As a very active leader in the Scottish community, Ena will be sadly missed by many friends.

The family would like to thank the medical staff of Victoria General Hospital for their exemplary care and compassion.
