NORMAN GEORGE CLARK May 16, 1935 - June 4, 2008 Suddenly, on June 4, 2008 Norm passed away at the age of 73. Norm will be sadly missed by his daughter Maria (Darrin) Lysack; son-in-law Ed Oviatt; grandchildren Gordon Oviatt, Samantha (Bryan) Tetreault, Justin, Andrew, and Carter Lysack; great-grandchildren, Aries Oviatt and Brock Tetreault; and brother Ken of Australia. He will also be missed by many friends and extended family, especially Frances Young. He was predeceased by his wife Irene; daughter Karen Oviatt; parents, Charles and Ellen; and sister Joan. Norm was born in London, England and came to Canada in 1968 and settled in Winnipeg. Norm worked for the Province of Manitoba for many years, retiring in 1993 as the Manager of the Provincial Records Centre. He was a member of Sturgeon Creek Masonic Lodge #145, St. James Chapter #25 O.E.S. and the Air Force Association. Norm was a longtime fan of the Winnipeg Jets and a member of the Winnipeg Jets Booster Club. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 11 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Chad's Anglican Church, 3390 Portage Ave, with reception to follow. A private family interment will take place.
