a huge Celtic party awaits your arrival at the Pavilion of Scotland! We are excited to return to a FULLY AIR CONDITIONED & FULLY ACCESIBLE venue at Centro Caboto Centre at 1055 Wilkes Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3P 2L7.

2025 Ambassadors

Tamara Towse, Adult Ambassador
Tamara has been involved in the Pavilion since 1995. She began Highland dancing with MHDA at the age of 9, and is a current member of the Ena Sutton Highland Dancers of Winnipeg. She's shared her love of Highland Dance by performing with ESHDW in Peru, the US, and all over Manitoba. If she’s not on stage performing, Tamara can be found lending a hand wherever it’s needed, from admissions, to the food line to the cash office. This is her 3rd time being an ambassador (previously in 2006 & 2010). Folklorama has been an important part of Tamara’s life and she’s excited to celebrate the festival this year as an Adult Ambassador.
Breanna Rempel, Adult Ambassador
Breanna was involved with the Pavilion when she was a wee Highland Dancer. After a few years away, she is excited to get back in touch with her Scottish roots as an Adult Ambassador.
Rowan Towse, Youth Ambassador
Rowan has embraced her Scottish heritage since she was four by taking Highland Dance and recently began to learn Gaelic. She has volunteered at the Pavilion of Scotland since 2022. Rowan is looking forward to celebrating Folklorama and her pride in the Scottish culture as a Youth Ambassador.
Murdoch Buchanan, Youth Ambassador
Previously, Murdoch performed at the Pavilion of Scotland as a Highland Dancer with the MHDA. In recent years, he's been happily serving guests as a volunteer on the food line. This year, Murdoch is greeting guests as a Youth Ambassador
