BERTHA EMILY LEEDER (nee DAVIS) On March 28, 2014, with family by her side, Bertha passed into the arms of her Lord at age 93. Bertha was predeceased by her loving husband, Edmund, of 59 years, and her daughter Cathy Brautigan. Bertha was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters. She is profoundly missed by her children: Beth (Brian) Bigelow, Ed (Halina), John (Linda), Janice (Brian) Glays; her 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Her loving family extends to many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. Bertha was a compassionate nurse for 30 years. She will be remembered for her philanthropic commitment and service to her community, and loyal membership to the Sons of Scotland. The family would like to thank the staff of the Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion. Bertha's funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Kildonan United Church, 187 Kilbride Ave., Winnipeg.
