The Rev. Donalda Jane Eastwood, beloved wife of Keith, passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, April 14, 1995. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Keith; son Fred and wife Layla; daughters Janet Ayers and husband Bruce, Susan Paish and husband Lance. She was the loving grandmother of Shawn, Michael and Kevin Eastwood and Brett Ayers; the loving daughter of Doris and the late Guy Hunt; sister of Doreen Howe and husband Peter, and aunt of David Stephen and Jane Howe she was the dear daughter-in-law of Beatrice and the late Herbert Eastwood and sister-in-law of Cynthia Eastwood.

At the time of her passing, Donnie was Director of Volunteers Activities and Pastoral Care at The Middlechuch Home of Winnipeg and Honourary Assistant at St. Bede's Anglican Church. She will be remembered for her love and support of her family and her unbounded "extended family”. Donnie gave devoted service to the church and the church community. She had a lifelong love and association with the Girl Guides of Canada. As well, many benefited from her tireless volunteer work with numerous community organizations. Everyone will remember Donnie's generosity, compassion and cheerful manner.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19 at St. John's Cathedral, 135 Anderson Ave. with The Right Rev. Patrick Lee, the Rev. Richard S. Condo and the Rev. Gene Saunders officiating. Cremation and family service to follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Donnie Eastwood Memorial Trust to be established at St John's College to perpetuate her example of Christian love and dedicated service.
