A. ISLAY BUSHBY It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Islay Bushby on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Health Sciences Centre. Islay was predeceased by her parents, Maud and Fredrick Bushby; brothers, Harold and Jack, and sister Audrey. She leaves to mourn her nephew Roy McLeod; many relatives in the U.K. and Australia; and close family friends, Brian McNulty, Denie Michaud and Euan Garrido. Islay was born in East Kildonan and spent her entire life here. She worked for many years for the Provincial Government. She was a member of Melrose Camp #126, Sons of Scotland, Royal Canadian Legion #81, Winnipeg Robert Burns Club, Bleak House Seniors Centre and was also involved with Folklorama, Scottish Pavilion. Memorial Service will be held at Bleak House, 1637 Main Street, Wednesday, July 10 at 1:30 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
