JOAN CAMERON MUIR (1931 - 2006) Joan Muir died on April 10, 2006 in Winnipeg. She is survived by her mother Kate, brother Ken (Margo), nephew Iain, niece Carolyn (Duane McClinton) and special friends Allisdair and Lochlan McClinton. There are relatives in Stornoway, Scotland, Connecticut, Winnipeg and British Columbia. She is well known for her School of Celtic Studies. Joan was also active in the Annie Bond Guild, the Irish club, the Pavilion of Scotland, Sons of Scotland and her choir Ceol Mara. She was a proud supporter of the Winnipeg Celtic Pipe Band.
