GORDON A. REID 1945 - 2005 It is with a great sense of loss that the Reid family - Jess, Steph, Gareth, Kim, Tyner, and Connor - announce the passing of their beloved husband, father, and papa. Gordon passed away in the company of his loving family, late on Thursday, December 15, while under the tender care of the doctors and nurses at Riverview Health Centre. The family thanks all the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for their care and support. Gordon was a beloved member of this city's Scottish community and a member of several choral groups which allowed him to share his musical talent with many people in this city and abroad. He will be remembered by many as the colourful and comedic MC at the Pavilion of Scotland for many years, and (if you believed him!) an accomplished fisherman! Gordon has left many friends and co-workers, whose lives he touched, a wee bit better for having known him. Here's tae us, wha's like us, Damn few, and they're a' deid. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 20 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In place of flowers, please send donations to CancerCare Manitoba. THOMSON IN THE PARK Funeral Home and Cemetery 1291 McGillivray Blvd. - Ph: 925-1120 (Between Pembina Hwy. and Waverley St.)
